More than just a subwoofer

The performance of a subwoofer system does not depend solely on the amount of available power. Controlling that power is essential for achieving a consistent response and proper integration with the rest of the system.

For this reason, the SW 1218A features 48 kHz, 24-bit DSP, allowing the signal parameters to be processed before the signal is sent to the speakers.

Integrated processing works in conjunction with amplification and transducers, forming a platform designed to operate as a single system.

Power Under Control

The SW 1218A uses amplification Class D, with 1,000 W RMS and up to 2,000 W of peak power. The built-in amplifier eliminates the need for a dedicated external subwoofer amplifier and keeps the electronics directly connected to the drivers.

This architecture simplifies system implementation and allows the amplifier, processor, and speakers to operate within a single platform.
