It allows you to connect any unbalanced audio source signal (such as from an electric instrument, keyboard or even an amplifier's speaker output) to any balanced input (such as that of a mixer).

Translates high-impedance instrument outputs into low-impedance balanced signals or low-impedance balanced signals into unbalanced outputs.

Converts unbalanced +10dB signals from the DJ mixer into balanced line-level signals, allowing easier interfacing with consoles and longer cable runs.

Allows multiple keyboard configurations connected to an instrument amplifier to be sent directly to a console mixer by connecting the amplifier's speaker outputs to the console input via the KDB-100PThis eliminates the need for a direct box on each keyboard.

The 3-position input attenuation switch (0dB, -20dB, -40dB) facilitates the appropriate output signal levels for optimum level matching with the connected equipment.
