The Suspect (season 4). Description + Review

The brilliant inventor Harold Finch was able to develop a unique program that revolutionized criminology. She analyzes all available factors, after which she can identify a potential killer and his next victim. The government is going to use this program only for those events that it considers important. These are cases that can lead to a threat to national security or mass deaths.
Based on this theory, single victims are quite acceptable for the leadership, since they have almost no effect on the population. But Harold Finch does not agree with the government's program. He wants his invention to work at full capacity, protecting all citizens. Not hoping to find a response to his ideas from the government, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Of course, he can't solve this problem on his own, so he finds an assistant.
Finch's assistant becomes a former CIA agent named John Reese. John has extensive experience in investigating murder cases. Many consider him dead, since according to all official documents he is really no longer alive. Thus, he became an ideal candidate for the role of assistant. Together with the inventor, he tries to save everyone who becomes a victim of potential killers.
Despite the abundance of crime-themed television series, this one makes a special impression. Having started as an original series, but in which each episode was made according to the same template and was almost always separate, it gradually became more coherent and, consequently, interesting. I think season 4 is really the best of the entire series at the moment. This is exactly the case when, after watching several episodes, you can get stuck watching for the whole weekend.
I was very pleased that there is a big departure from the Hollywood canons, which are already pretty boring. Here, the bad guys are not stronger, but weaker than the good ones. It doesn't create a mystery that torments the whole season, or even several in a row, which the main character then reveals at the end. All events are quite logically explained almost immediately, which does not reduce interest in everything that is happening.
At the same time, the main character is practically devoid of flaws and he does not have a comical assistant. There is also no end-to-end intrigue running through all the seasons, its germs begin to appear only in recent seasons. Everything is going up here, so season 4 is not only considered the best so far, but with each episode it becomes more interesting. The events are becoming more intense and intriguing. But there is a lot of morality involved, which is present in many of these paintings.
The previously little-known actors did an excellent job with their roles and by the fourth season they had already fully settled in. The image of Harold Finch, a billionaire and inventor all rolled into one, who spends his time saving people like a Robin Hood, is becoming more interesting and thoughtful.
