A L83P WH It is a floor-standing speaker designed to offer Wide coverage, intelligibility, and consistent performance in applications that require resistance to environmental conditions. With eight 3″ full-range transducers arranged in a vertical configuration, the system combines a compact design, high acoustic efficiency, and wide horizontal dispersion, making it a versatile solution for outdoor installations and distributed sound systems.

The construction of the L83P WH uses Russian wood specially selected for applications subject to exposure to water, moisture, and high temperatures, providing greater strength and durability in outdoor environments. This protection is complemented by a metal mesh with a special treatment for outdoor use, while the transducers are also designed to withstand outdoor conditions.

Acoustic Performance

The set of 8 3-inch full-range speakers with neodymium magnets provides balanced and efficient sound reproduction across a frequency range of 110 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The vertical arrangement of the transducers contributes to uniform coverage, with 120° horizontal beam angle and 40° vertical beam angle, allowing it to accommodate different installation configurations.

Capable of reaching up to 130 dB/SPL at 1 m, the L83P WH delivers a high sound pressure level for a speaker enclosure measuring just 7.0kg, while maintaining a compact design suitable for applications where space, weight, and visual integration are important factors.

The system also features internal passive frequency divider, providing a simple-to-use solution and allowing for direct integration with compatible amplification systems.

Recommended amplification

For amplifying the L83P WH, we recommend the following amplifiers: K-Audio EZ3200 and EZ6400, designed to provide power and flexibility for different system configurations.

O EZ3200 It has four amplifier channels, delivering 4 × 400 W RMS @ 8 Ω or 4 × 800 W RMS @ 4 Ω, allowing you to feed a L83P WH per channel at low impedance with a wide power margin. The amplifier also offers bridge mode operation, with 2 × 1,600 W RMS @ 8 Ω, expanding the system's configuration options.

For projects that require a larger number of speakers or greater amplification capacity, the EZ6400 offers eight channels, with 8 × 400 W RMS @ 8 Ω, 8 × 800 W RMS @ 4 Ω or 4 × 1,600 W RMS @ 8 Ω in bridge mode.

In distributed sound reinforcement applications, the L83P WH can also operate via its 70/100V line transformer, allowing multiple speakers to be connected to the same amplifier channel. The number of speakers per channel will depend on the power tap selected on each unit, providing flexibility to scale the system according to the installation's area and sound requirements.

Integration and Installation

Designed to facilitate the installation of distributed systems, the L83P WH features Euroblock input and output connections, allowing multiple units of the same model to be daisy-chained in a single installation.

The system incorporates a line transformer rated for 70V / 100V operation, allowing it to be integrated into distributed audio systems. This configuration is particularly well-suited for installations with long cable runs and multiple boxes connected to the same line, providing greater flexibility in the design and layout of the audio system.
